Mirage Turf Systems has a long history from humble beginnings. A true testament to the working class of Alberta. Let us tell you a bit about our journey:

1999 – After stumbling upon an ad in a magazine, Randy started the Alberta division of Mirage Putting Greens in cooperation with an international dealership network out of the US. Full of inspiration and energy, he loaded up his 1991 Jeep YJ with a few shovels and a rake. What more could anyone need to start doing landscaping work? By taking this leap, Randy had become one of the first people specializing in artificial turf for residential applications in all of Canada! Can you guess how many projects were completed in the inaugural year? NINE.

2003 – Randy was selected as a corporate trainer for Mirage Putting Greens and was flown around North America to train new teams. He continued doing this during our offseasons until 2010.

2010 – Our team was selected as Master Installers to represent the entirety of Mirage Putting Greens for a 9-hole golf course installation in Europe.

2011 – We became independent of the international dealership as Mirage Putting Greens of Alberta. This was due to our striving for higher quality and advancement. We wanted to continue pushing the envelope and ensuring that we were offering products that were going to hold up in our climate.

2017 – Rebranded to Mirage Turf Systems

2022 – Completed over 200 installs in a single year for the first time

2024 – Celebrated 25 years in business, and along with this milestone, Mirage was ready to evolve to the next step. With a newly appointed President and General Manager, the leadership team is ready to continue the legacy that Randy built over the course of a quarter century, and continue to be the best in artificial turf.
